Itinerary
Day 1|Arrival in Kunming
Welcome to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, often known as the “City of Eternal Spring.” Upon arrival, your private driver and guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring local Yunnan cuisine. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax.
Day 2|Kunming Natural Wonders & Flower Market
In the afternoon, return to Kunming and visit Dounan Flower Market, one of Asia’s major fresh flower trading centers. Wander through the colorful market, admire a wide variety of flowers, and experience the lively atmosphere of Kunming’s flower industry.
After the visit, return to your hotel and enjoy some free time.
Day 3|Kunming to Dali ｜ High-Speed Train to Dali – Ideal State (Santorini) – Dali Ancient Town – Foreigner Street
In the afternoon, visit Ideal State (Santorini), a picturesque resort area featuring Mediterranean-inspired architecture and beautiful views of Erhai Lake.
Continue to Dali Ancient Town, where traditional Bai-style buildings, charming streets, and local shops create a welcoming atmosphere. Take a leisurely walk along Foreigner Street, a popular area lined with cafés, restaurants, and small boutiques.
After sightseeing, transfer to your hotel and check in.
Day 4|Dali’s Historical & Cultural Heritage
In the afternoon, continue to Xizhou Ancient Town, a traditional Bai settlement known for its well-preserved courtyard houses and distinctive local architecture.
Here, enjoy a hands-on Bai tie-dye experience. Learn about this traditional craft and create your own small handmade tie-dye scarf as a memorable souvenir.
After the experience, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5|Dali to Shangri-La｜Tibetan Family Visit – Songzanlin Monastery – Dukezong Ancient Town
Upon arrival, visit a local Tibetan family and gain an insight into traditional Tibetan customs, daily life, and hospitality. Enjoy a local-style lunch during the visit.
In the afternoon, explore Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan. Often nicknamed the “Little Potala Palace,” the monastery is renowned for its impressive architecture, golden rooftops, and peaceful mountain setting.
Later, visit Dukezong Ancient Town, a historic Tibetan settlement with charming traditional buildings and cobbled streets. Explore Guishan Park and Moonlight Square, and see the famous giant prayer wheel, one of the town’s most recognizable landmarks.

Day 6|Shangri-La to Lijiang ｜Pudacuo National Park – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Drive to Lijiang
In the afternoon, continue to Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the most spectacular canyons in the region. Admire the dramatic cliffs and the powerful Jinsha River flowing between Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain.
Take the scenic escalator down to the gorge viewing area, where you can get a closer look at the rushing river and impressive canyon landscape.
After the visit, continue your journey to Lijiang and check in at your hotel.
Day 7|Lijiang Snow Mountain & Ancient Town Experience
Continue to Blue Moon Valley, famous for its striking turquoise lakes, clear water, and beautiful mountain backdrop.
Later, enjoy Impression Lijiang, an impressive outdoor performance set against the dramatic scenery of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The show presents the traditions and cultural heritage of local ethnic communities through music, dance, and storytelling.
After descending from the mountain, visit Yushui Village, known for its traditional Naxi culture and natural surroundings. Continue to Baisha Ancient Town, a historic Naxi settlement with traditional architecture and a quieter atmosphere.

Day 8|Lijiang to Kunming | High-Speed Train to Kunming – Green Lake Park – Yunnan Military Academy
Upon arrival, visit Green Lake Park, a popular urban retreat where you can enjoy a relaxing walk along the lakeside and observe the everyday life of local residents.
Continue to the Former Site of Yunnan Military Academy, a historic institution that played an important role in China’s modern military history. Explore its traditional architecture and learn about its historical significance.
